Pagerduty StatusCast Integration

Hi,

I am very new to Pagerduty Statuscast Integration so looking for some help here. I am following this document - https://www.pagerduty.com/docs/guides/statuscast-integration-guide/ . I have couple of questions.

  1. Can’t I use Webhook v3 instead of v2 ? we want to update Incident status from "deprecated: to “system impaired” in Statuscast if the incident priority changes on the Pagerduty end. And not having this would be a blocker for our new alerting method.
  2. The Document states that - " 2. Now log into your administrative portal ([subdomain].statuscast.com/admin), and navigate to the Monitors section. Here you can create new monitors as well as manage any existing ones." for configuration on the Statuscast side. But, I don’t see any Monitors section in Statuscast. I only see - Dashboard, incidents, services, reported issues, Subscribers, Beacons and Reports.

As your queries are related to the Statuscast interface, unfortunately we don’t have any other info to share other than the integration guide you mentioned in the message.

1- Changing the extension from v2 to v3 would have to be done on the StatusCast side.

2- Access to the “Monitors” section or any other sections within the platform would be determined by the administrator or owner of the StatusCast account.

To get accurate and up-to-date information about role access on StatusCast and Webhook updates, I recommend reaching out to StatusCast support or referring to their official documentation or help resources.
